By default, TIA Portal requires to create passwords under some parameters or conditions. Up to a limit we have the control to change these password settings as well.
By default TIA Portal requires:
- Password length is 8 character which cannot be less than 8 characters.
- Minimum number of numeric characters: 1 which can be set to 0
- Minimum number of special characters: 0
- At least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter which can change.
In order to change these password settings, on the left side, under the project tree, Go to “Security Settings” > “Settings” > “Password Policies”
Finally, Create the simplest or the most complex passwords ever!
